Crunchy toast

 Crunchy toast

Bread is very common in household. But if you toast your bread like this, I can be sure that not only your children or grandchildren will love it but you too will surely indulge in it.

Best thing you can ever do with any type of fresh bread or leftover.

This bread is soo crunchy from the outside but soft inside. Brown sugar and butter when cooked together on both sides of the bread  gets caramelised and gives that perfect aroma and taste. And you will sure go for a second piece of it.

Ingredients

50 grams butter (I have used salted butter as salt and caramelisation goes superbly well)

50 brown sugar

4 pieces of bread

Method

Take a bowl and put the butter in it.

Heat the butter in microwave for 20 seconds.

If microwave is not available just bring the butter to room temperature.

Now add the brown sugar and mix well until it comes together.

Heat the pan on low flame.

Take a tablespoon full of above mixture and apply on one side of bread. Spread all of Very the bread.

Let the butter and brown sugar melt and caramelise.

As it is caramelising on one side take another spoon of mixture of butter and brown sugar and spread on the side of bread.

By now you will see the bubbles of brown sugar melting and caramelising.

Flip the bread and let it cook on the other side the same way.

It will take 2-3 minutes to toast on each side.

Repeat the same process until you have got enough of it.

Your crunchy toast is ready to bite and crunch.

You will really love the looks, taste and the crunch sound when eaten.

Tips

You can use any bread you have.

Brown sugar will give a nice brown colour but if you don’t have brown you can use white sugar.

Keep the flame low all the time as the high flame will burn the sugar and the bread will be bitter in taste.

Dangerous:

Do not use your finger at all to touch the touch the bread when cooking.
